What this site is

Dump That Fridge is run by INCREATUS ("we", "us"). It is getting ready to connect home cooks with people nearby who want to eat their food. We have not launched yet. At the moment this site only lets you join a waitlist. Nothing can be bought or sold through it, and joining does not create an account or any contract to buy or sell food.

Joining the waitlist

Joining is free and you can leave at any time by emailing jingin@dumpthatfridge.com. Joining does not guarantee that we will open in your area, or when. How we handle your details is set out in our privacy notice.

Cooks

In the UK, selling food made at home is a registered activity. Anyone who sells through Dump That Fridge once it opens will need to be registered as a food business with their local council at least 28 days before they start trading, and to follow the food hygiene and allergen rules that apply to them. Telling us on the waitlist that you are, or are not, registered does not register you with anyone.

Founding Cooks

Cooks can reserve a Founding Cook place for a one-off payment, taken securely by Stripe. A Founding Cook gets: their kitchen live first in their area when we open there, a Founding Cook badge on their kitchen page, and no commission on their first 20 orders. You still need to be registered with your council before you can sell. We refund the full amount if we have not opened in your area within 6 months of your payment, or if you ask within 14 days of paying. Email jingin@dumpthatfridge.com to ask.

Kitchen cam

Cooks can show their own YouTube live stream on Dump That Fridge. The stream stays on YouTube and YouTube's own rules apply to it. By switching on a cam you agree to the kitchen cam rules: cooking only, no one on camera who hasn't agreed, no children, and nothing personal in view. Viewers can report a stream; a stream reported by three different people comes off automatically and that channel can't be added again. You can take your cam off at any time with the link in your email.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site: no automated signups, no attempts to break or overload it, and no signing other people up without their permission. We may remove signups that break these rules.

Our responsibility

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we don't promise it will always be up or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UK consumer law, or our responsibility for anything that by law cannot be limited.

Changes

When we launch, we will publish full terms for cooks and eaters before anyone can buy or sell. If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
